A Balanced, Rich Learning Experience for Young Leaders

At SLA we emphasize:

  • Spanish Immersion: We go beyond the books to nurture bilingual speakers, readers, and writers who have a deep understanding of language, culture, and global interconnectedness. With 85% of the day taught in Spanish, our young leaders are truly “immersed” in the Spanish language (exceptions include our English Language Arts classes and select specials).

  • 21st Century Skill Development: With a focus on leadership, we strategically teach our students the skills necessary to be a resilient, visionary, and empathetic leader.

  • Supporting the “Whole Child” through a Well-rounded Curriculum: We handle the "heavy lifting" of core content, including Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies, along with offering Spanish Language Arts and an array of specials designed to nurture “the whole child” (e.g., leadership, practical arts, integrated arts, yoga, entrepreneurship, discovery/STEM lab)
