Elementary Program

The Flowering of Vision

Our elementary (K-6) program is where leadership meets academic rigor. We use a multi-age approach to allow older students mentor younger ones, solidifying their roles as leaders.

Los Guías (The Guides): Kindergarten
This transition year focuses on literacy, care of self, personal responsibility, and independence.

Los Forjadores (The Shapers): Grades 1 – 2
These young learners are shaping their world through communication and inquiry. They balance intensive Spanish and English core blocks with ample opportunities to explore STEM areas and leadership development.

Los Visionarios (The Visionaries): Grades 3 – 6
Our older leaders are preparing for global influence. In addition to core content (math, science, English Language Arts, Spanish Language Arts, social studies),  they focus on leadership challenges, financial literacy, service learning, and entrepreneurial projects that prepare them for a life of contribution.

Fall 2026 Clubs:

Monday: Nature Club

Theme: Exploration & Ecological Wisdom

Young naturalists will embark on a weekly adventure to unlock the secrets of the outdoors! Blending hands-on field science with environmental stewardship, students master observation skills and scientific inquiry. Whether they are sketching local wildlife, identifying native species, or tracking weather patterns, children develop a deep connection to the ecosystem and a sense of wonder for the living world around them.

Tuesday: Leadership Club

Theme: Civic Engagement & Project Management

This empowering club transforms students into proactive changemakers by integrating key leadership concepts with project management methodologies. Students develop critical skills in interpersonal communication, strategic planning, and conflict resolution. We move beyond theory into action, teaching children to "Begin with the End in Mind" as they design service projects and "Synergize" to solve community problems, proving that true leadership is found in serving others.

Wednesday: World Explorers Club

Theme: Human Geography, Cartography & Cultural Studies

Travel the globe without leaving the classroom! This immersive journey engages students in human geography and comparative cultural studies to understand the complex systems that shape our world. Curriculum focuses include cartography (map-reading and making), sociology, and global economics. Through hands-on experiences—like analyzing authentic artifacts, creating relief maps, and exploring global traditions—children develop a true "citizen of the world" mindset and a deep appreciation for diversity.

Thursday: Gardening Club

Theme: Botany, Sustainability & Farm-to-Table Science

Get ready to dig deep! This hands-on club bridges the gap between the classroom and the earth, turning the garden into a living laboratory. Students engage directly with core science curriculum concepts including photosynthesis, nitrogen cycles, soil composition, and sustainable agriculture. As they nurture their crops from seed to harvest, they learn the vital life skills of patience, responsibility, and environmental care.

Friday: Dance Club

Theme: Rhythm, Movement & Coordination

End the week with high-energy expression and cultural flair! This club celebrates the joy of movement, focusing on coordination, musicality, and confidence. Students will learn the dynamic steps of Latin dance—including Salsa, Merengue, and more—alongside other world rhythms. It is the perfect blend of physical education and artistic expression, encouraging every child to find their own groove.
